The systems comes in many energy sizes to be used in both small and large residential areas. Systems of at least more than 18 kw can only be run on three phase power supply. This method of temperature regulation is an aesthetically pleasing option since with it there are no bulky indoor units on the walls.

The devices have great features that make them effective. For instance they are superior intelligent such that when in auto mode, they reflect on all factors affecting ones comfort such as indoor and outdoor temperatures. The systems are designed to automatically remember preferred settings with changes in temperature and make slight adjustments necessary to make you feel comfortable.

The intelligence in the systems enables them to do away with excess cooling or heating and this saves much energy thus lower electrical bills. The humidity levels in a particular room can be significantly reduced when they are on the extreme. The indoor unit of the system is located in a place subject to access either in the roof cavity or even beneath the floor of the house. The outdoor unit is connected to indoor component using cables or pipes. A duct is connected to inside unit to service a number of areas in the house via the ceiling, floor or wall guides.

With this method of air conditioning, individuals are able to regulate several regions within a building in such a manner that some are functioning while others are dormant. These systems have been verified to be cost effective and are therefore efficient to apply. The system maintains a certain temperature within a room and thereby makes residents comfortable in all weather conditions.

The entire system is designed in a simple manner such that people do not struggle to use them. Dampers help to decrease or increase the air movement in all outlets until all the rooms achieve a uniform distribution. For a quiet and smooth airflow opposed blade dumpers are employed.The systems have different capabilities depending on their size and features.

Ducted air conditioning is fitted with an isolator switch which enables one to switch off power without having to find the main source in the fuse box. Switching off may be required if the system has malfunctioned or when one is going away for a long period. The outdoor units are placed in groups or even on polyslabs.
